2012 Banerette Matches

Applications for the 2012 Banerette Matches are now invited. Everyone is welcome to apply.
The attached form is both the programme for 2012 as well as the application form.
As the first few matches are very near the start of our bowling season, the organiser, Brian Cattle,
is therefore anxious that match applications are made by members as soon as possible.
Members can post in the applications, or can apply by e-mail, either by completing the form, or by just sending Brian Cattle an e-mail, giving the details of the games they wish to be considered for. Applications can also be made by telephone.
All applications received will be acknowledged.

Outdoor Club League

The Outdoor Clubs League takes place at Whiteknights from late October to early March. Five clubs are involved (Wokingham, Maiden Erlegh, Three Mile Cross, Suttons and Reading University) and each club plays all the other teams twice.
Matches usually take place on Saturday evenings from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and the format is three mixed rinks (minimum of one lady/gent per rink).
Wokingham has an excellent record in the Outdoor Clubs League and we finished top of the table in 2010/11 during which over twenty Wokingham bowlers took part. You do not have to be a Whiteknights member to participate.
Please watch out for the fixture sheets which will be posted on the Whiteknights "Outdoor Clubs" notice board during early October. If you have any queries please contact Alan Herbert or Mike Holmes.

Please note that conditions apply;
  • club membership card to be shown to the server BEFORE ordering
  • proof of identity must be shown
  • limited to a maximum of 6 people per visit
  • offer can be withdrawn at any time (so best to check when booking)
If you've lost your membership card you can get a replacement from the Secretary.

It is not designed to hold "personal" announcments (e.g. items for sale or duty rota swaps). These will continue to be arranged through the noticeboards in the clubhouse.
