Work on the green

posted 16 May 2018, 02:18 by Len Cooke   [ updated 22 May 2018, 03:51 ]

The top green was hollowed tined on 16 May to a depth of 4".

Members may be interested to see some photos of the work. The screwdriver is there to show the depth of the tines - we are not going round sticking screwdrivers in all over the green. (Apologies some photos are sideways - haven't worked out how to correct this yet!)

Bannerette matches 2018

posted 12 Jan 2018, 00:25 by Len Cooke   [ updated 12 Jan 2018, 00:27 ]

All men are invited to apply to play for the county president’s team in this year’s bannerette programme.

The programme provides opportunities for the less experienced bowlers to play for the president’s team alongside more experienced colleagues.

You do not need to be the top bowlers or hold a county badge. You will be playing against the normal range of bowling members from other clubs.

If you wish to be considered please complete the form.

As advised on the form please return it direct to Andrew Greenway by post, email or you can phone in your details.

The application form (in either pdf or docx format) can be downloaded from the foot of this announcement.
