This page contains links to useful bowls related websites and to bowls publications. Please note that we do not provide links to commercial sites. USEFUL PUBLICATIONS A brief guide to bowls etiquette can be accessed in the attachments section at the foot of the page. An on-line version of the laws of bowls can be found on the World Bowls site. 2011 LAWS A copy of the 2011 laws can be viewed/downloaded from the attachment at the foot of this page. As with previous editions, the Foreword to the laws makes clear that references to 'should' and 'will' within the laws means that the action is compulsory. References to 'can' means that the action is optional. LAW 28: BOWL DISPLACEMENT This law is one of the more complex laws. Attachment at foot of the page provides a simpler guide to parts 1 -3 of this law (i.e. where a player disturbs a wood when it is moving, and also where wood is disturbed by a "neutral object"). The attachment also covers cases where the jack is displaced. USEFUL LINKS Links to other clubs' websites are on the "how to get there" page. Links to national and county bowling organisations are:
